Propellernet and Dogs Trust Secure Win at The UK Search Awards 2024
We are so happy to take home the win for the Best Use of Search – Third Sector / Not for Profit award (large) for our work with Dogs Trust.
The UK Search Awards are prestigious awards that recognise excellence and celebrates the very best in search across England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. It was a tough competition and we’re proud to be recognised alongside other talented agencies.
Building on the success of previous years, the Dogs Trust National Dog Survey campaign set out to drive record-breaking participation while reinforcing the charity’s reputation as the UK’s leading authority on canine welfare. A key challenge was addressing gaps in previous surveys, particularly among men and younger audiences. To tackle this, the campaign adopted a data-driven, full-funnel approach, leveraging platforms like Google, Microsoft, Meta, TikTok, and Reddit, with audience insights from YouGov.
A standout creative was a highly engaging Meta video ad, sparking 1.8 million page engagements and thousands of comments. Branded paid search complemented organic traffic, ensuring seamless user journeys. The campaign not only surpassed participation goals but also provided valuable data to shape future strategies, strengthening Dogs Trust’s ability to support dog owners and improve canine welfare across the UK. The data from this campaign will directly contribute to dog welfare in the UK over the coming years.
