The month in links – September’s Digital PR highlights
As autumn settles it’s time to look back at the incredible work our Digital PR team delivered in September! From relaxing beaches to driving hydration tips, it was quite the month for attention-grabbing stories.
The Spa Seekers team Abigail Bennetts, Charlotte Brown, and Isobelle Brown, bid a final (and heartbroken) farewell to summer by unveiling the world’s most relaxing beaches based on online travel reviews. A peaceful Queensland beach earned the coveted second spot globally, getting our travel bug hyped for next year already.
For parents who want reliable advice amid the noise of social media trends, the iCandy team (Megan Salter and Abigail Bennetts) sifted through popular TikTok sleeping tips, separating fact from fiction once and for all.
We all know Beauty Pie is the go-to source for trendsetting beauty insights. This time, Megan Salter, Isobelle Brown, Maddie Davies and Richard Paul tapped into the latest makeup craze, letting us know how to achieve the “Igari” (or “Hangover”) makeup look. Hint: the right blush is CRUCIAL.
Talk about a step-count reality check! PureGym’s Richard Paul, Chloe Tickner, and Charlotte Brown dove into global and UK step count data, challenging the 10,000 steps per day benchmark. By combining data analysis with expert opinions, they created a thought-provoking discussion on fitness goals that had us all checking our smartwatches.
Looking at Loughborough University research, we found that mild dehydration has drivers making mistakes behind the wheel similar to those under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The Scrap Car Comparison’s whizzes (Abigail Bennetts, Richard Paul, Charlotte Brown, Anna-Lena Thees) jumped in and provided crucial advice on staying hydrated while driving.
With the end of an era comes the opportunity for some exciting stories. The Auto Trader team led by Maddie Davies and Stephanie Finch capitalised on the Grand Tour finale, revealing a surge in interest for the Triumph Stag.
Lastly, our Remitly team (Abigail Bennetts, Anna-Lena Thees, Stephen Baker, Maddie Davies, Megan Salter, Alessandra Carriban) crafted a country-specific campaign for German-speaking markets, highlighting the most beloved viewpoints across Germany. Remember the travel bug I mentioned at the start? Let’s just say it is alive and well in autumn too.
